Battleground Orlando is a recent laser tag addition to the immensely popular Orlando Paintball, a park now open for more than 20 years. They have a total of six fields, both indoors and out. A variety of game types keep the action exciting at all times. Predator Games laser tag was added in November 2011 and it has quickly exploded. Battleground uses the Barracuda system to maximize their audience and after only one month they started seeing a profit. They have since added more guns for a total of 30.
Battleground Orlando markets their laser tag in a completely separate way than paintball, hence, the different names. The customers they target are different from their paintball players, but some crossover may occur in the future. Their goal is to reach the huge (way bigger than paintball) laser tag demographic, starting at the age of 5. Their laser tag is for people not too excited about paintball or those who want to do something cleaner with their kids. Some of the special events and dates are geared towards certain audiences and aim to bring more people to the facility. Mondays are half off days, while girls can play for only $10 on Tuesdays. Also, the birthday person always gets a free rental. |

The future for Battleground Orlando looks exciting as they now have their hands dipped into a market that paintball could never reach. It is expected that the laser tag portion of their business will exceed the paintball side of things in a short amount of time. Due to the features of the Predator System, they are always looking to create new games for different customer types and look forward to the upgrades and enhancement coming from Predator in the future.
